Cauliflower (Coli) and Bell-Pepper (Pepper) are sisters who were both born with a neurological condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), which presents lifelong balance and coordination challenges. Despite their condition they can live long and happy lives, free of pain.
Coli, the white one, has a moderate case of CH, often falling over when trying to walk. She has adapted to her moderate CH by walking slowly with a wide stance, unless her food is set out, then it's more of a quick shuffle with many unintended turns and steps.
Pepper, the tabby, has a mild case of CH. She does trip on occasion, but walking seems easy for her. When she jumps, she often ends up jumping in the wrong direction. She has adapted to her mild CH by lifting her feet high while she walks, audibly tap tap tapping around.
